Fortune Tellers ha conseguido ocupar un lugar de referencia entre los grupos nacionales con marcadas influencias del sonido 60’s, lo que le ha llevado a participar en los mas importantes festivales nacionales de esta tendencia: Euro Ye-Ye, Purple Weekend…
Su primer trabajo, WERE RIGHT, EP de ocho temas producido por Fernando Pardo (Sex Museum), fue publicado por Animal Records y esta agotado. En estos dias este trabajo ha sido reeditado en vinilo, en una serie limitada que hara las delicias de los cazadores de discos y coleccionistas.
Despues publicaron un CD Single titulado TAKE ME BACK que incluia el video clip de esta cancion. Ademas han participado en los dos recopilatorios editados por Wild Thing Records, THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD (WTR004) y THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD, Vol. 2 (WTR015) con motivo del 12° y 14° aniversarios de Wild Thing Bar, mitico bar madrileno que da nombre al sello.
Su nuevo trabajo, con un sonido mas potente y duro, hara disfrutar a los admiradores de bandas como Humble Pie, The Who, Traffic… y de otras mas actuales como Kula Shaker, Supergrass, Ocean Colour Scene… todas ellas influencias muy directas en la musica de Fortune Tellers.
Fortune Tellers have reached a top place along those sixties influenced Spanish bands, they have been participating in the most relevant national sixties oriented meetings: Euro Ye-ye, Purple weekend…
Their first work, WERE RIGHT, EP containing eight tracks produced by Fernando Pardo (Sex Museum, Coronas), was published by Animal Records and became a sold-out item. These days a new limited and numbered version of this work has been published in fancy 10’’ vinyl to please the needs of the most addicted vinyl junkies!
After this first work they published a CD single called TAKE ME BACK, CD including the video of this song. They participated also in the compilations published by Wild Thing Records, THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD (WTR004) y THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD, Vol. 2 (WTR015) celebrating the 12° and 14° anniversary of the mythical Spanish club which gives name to the record label.
